An unreached peoples group does not have an indigenous community of believing Christians nor do they have he adequate numbers of believers and resources needed to reach their own people. These are the people that have no churches, no access to Bibles in their language, no access to Christian radio, television, or books. Multiple people groups may co-exist within a political nation but because of language, land or social barriers never have any contact with one another.
According to the Joshua Project, Currently There are just under 7,000 unreached people groups left in the world today, comprising a population between 2.3 to 2.7 billion lost souls. They all need to be reached and be given the opportunity to heard the glorious Gospel of Jesus Christ.
